Engel ╲ and (I), 2022-2024
Engel ╲ and (I) is an investigative sequence of nine oil paintings integrating motifs from my long-term research on migration in the Strait of Dover. Certain paintings reference my Ground Sea book; some elements may be recognized as containing fragments from or engaging in dialogue with other of my artworks.
