Eerste brief aan Linda
In this post you find the audio version (in Dutch) of the first letter that I have written to Linda from Beersel, Belgium. It served as a walking guide for visitors through my exhibition En attendant at KEI (Coxyde), which was held in the Summer of 2025. At the same time, patients in the clinic could listen to the work in their rooms or while spending time in a waiting room. The letter starts with a description of an aerial photograph of Nieuwpoort-Bad from 1911 by René Desclée, which is reproduced in Jeroen Cornilly, Het verlangen naar zee (Ghent: Tijdsbeeld, 2024), p. 257.
